BIOGRAPHY
Javier Bayod is an Industrial Engineering, speciality mechanics by the University of Saragossa (1999). He was incorporated in the Continuous Media Mechanics and Structures Theory area of the Mechanics Engineering Department of the University of Saragossa. He obtained his PhD degree in 2006 in the mentioned department. His thesis focused on the wear of the polyethylene component of knee prosthesis. After that, he made a postdoctoral stay in “L’École de Technologie Supérieure, ETS” of the University of Quebec in Montreal (Canada) where he developed a study in new hip prostheses called resurfacing prostheses. Nowadays, he belongs to CIBER-BBN, assigned to GEMM group and he is a teacher of the Mechanics Engineering Department of the University of Saragossa since 2002.
